Learn about our programs and services
The West Haven Prevention Council (WHPC) is dedicated to providing information and education to our community to help reduce high-risk behaviors among our youth.

We hold monthly meetings (currently virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic) on the third Thursday of every month at 3:00pm. These meetings range from general community updates, to trainings and educational sessions, to interactive strategy and capacity building activities. To inquire about getting involved with the coalition and attending coalition meetings, click the Get Involved button below. All meetings are open to the public and we gladly welcome anyone who lives or works in West Haven!
At West Haven Prevention Council we also offer a variety of trainings and educational presentations on all topics related to substance use prevention and mental health promotion. Need a guest speaker on vaping for your health class? A suicide prevention training for your staff and volunteers? We've got you covered.
